How to figure out gematria

Gematria is an ancient system of numerological codes used by the Ancient Greeks, Hebraic and others to bring out hidden meanings in words, characters and phrases. By substituting numerical equivalents for letters and words, gematria can be used to uncover hidden information and meanings in texts. This numeretical analysis can then be used to decode secret messages, discover new understanding from texts, identify personal insight and spirituality, or even predict future events.

To begin using gematria to decipher a message you need to understand the symbolical numeric values that are assigned to each character, letter or word. Each letter in most Hebrew texts will have an associated numerical code that represent a specific number from one to nine. In order for you to figure out the exact numerical value of a specific word or phrase, you need to add up the numerical values of each letter in the text.

You can also use gematria to identify repeated patterns within certain texts such as names of people and places as well as their associated numbers. For example if a certain individual's name carries the same numerical value as a particular location name then this could indicate a particular connection between them. Likewise you can use gematrisa decoding technique called Notariqon which allows you take every first letter of each word found within a text and create a separate phrase or sentence with these first letters. You then have an entirely new phrase with unique coding that far different than the original noting any potential links between them which could give new perspective on the overall meaning of your text.
